We did 1.9 miles in just under an hour. A beautiful place to visit with nice wide trails for hiking and biking. Enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean while resting on one of the benches. The war memorials are also beautiful. Plenty of parking in the lot. Pay by the hour or get a season pass. We saw several rabbits while hiking the trail. Such a peaceful place.

Loved the history of this site and the views. Wish I could have gone inside but I understand why they lock it. Great spot to swim too if you have the kiddos.

Weather was lovely albeit a bit windy. During part of the year, there is a parking charge June-August?) Three is a 3 mile walk away along the cliff edge. There are gun implacements for both world wars. The visitor center was not open on the Sunday I was there. This summer (2026) construction is being done on Rt 18. Google maps got me around it just fine.

Such a beautiful park, nice to take a relaxing stroll or run byt he water, and aroudn the old fort, the museum is worth checking out the beach looks nice for wimming inthe nice weather
